U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The U.S. Air Force Academy Class of 2029 has officially begun their journey. Basic cadet candidates from the class of 2029 arrive at the U.S. Air Force Academy for in-processing (I-Day), June 25, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colo. I-Day marks the start of the cadet's journey of becoming a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. Approximately 10% of each Academy class commissions into the U.S. Space Force.
