Chief Master Sergeant JASON D. CHILDERS Chief Master Sergeant Jason D. Childers is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM), headquartered at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. As the senior enlisted advisor to the Commander, he plays a critical role in STARCOM's mission to forge the world’s most combat-credible space force. Chief Childers leads and advocates for the development of more than 15,000 military and civilian Guardians, ensuring they are prepared and seamlessly integrated with validated capabilities, tactics, and command and control . His leadership directly supports the command's vision of delivering unmatched combat credibility for the space domain through innovative education, training, doctrine, and rigorous test activities. Chief Master Sergeant Childers enlisted in the United States Air Force in June 2000. He spent his first eight years as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems Technician before transitioning to Space Systems Operations in 2008, and he subsequently transferred to the United States Space Force in 2020. Throughout his career, Chief Childers has executed missions across all USSF core functions and held vital leadership positions at both the Headquarters Staff and Component-Field Command levels. His extensive operational experience includes deployments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Freedom’s Sentinel.
