The NSTTC

The NSTTC is a combination of test and training ranges services that encompasses multiple range environments. Unlike air and ground ranges, the NSTTC cannot be described in terms of the range capabilities and activities conducted within a specific geographic area. Rather, it is described as a series of capabilities (including space and/or ground nodes) that, when brought together, create unique range environments intended to serve specific test and training requirements. These environments are independent of a specific geographic area. The NSTTC is operated and managed by the Range and Aggressor Delta, Space Delta 11 (DEL 11), under the authority of Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command.

ELECTROMAGNETIC WARFARE RANGE
NSTTC-E

The NSTTC-E provides range control for activities conducted on
NSTTC-E space-based assets as well as those owned and/or
operated by non-NSTTC-E organizations. The NSTTC-E provides
a capability to securely test developmental and operational space
systems and to train/exercise space operations crews of all services
in a live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environment.

ORBITAL WARFARE RANGE
NSTTC-O

The NSTTC-O provides range control for Orbital Warfare (OW)
activities conducted on NSTTC-O space-based assets as well
as those owned and/or operated by non-NSTTC-O organizations.
The NSTTC-O provides a capability to securely test
developmental and operational space systems and to train/exercise
space operations crews of all services in a LVC environment.

CYBER WARFARE RANGE
NSTTC-C

NSTTC-C is being developed to allow for interagency cooperation
and information cross-flow outside cyber channels providing
integration of Computer Network Operations (CNO) into air,
space, and cyberspace domain planning, execution, feedback
and monitoring.

DIGITAL WARFARE ENVIRONMENT
NSTTC-D

NSTTC-D is a physics-based, real-world M&S environment that
enables all mission design series space warfighters to plan and
execute space operations in a contested, degraded and
operationally-limited environment by incorporating realistic,
threat-based scenarios into tactical to operational level exercise
and advanced training events emphasizing the protection and
defense of space assets.
